At The Shrubbery School, we believe in personalised provision—because every child is unique. From the moment your child joins us, we set individual targets and put the right support in place so that they can succeed.
Our dedicated SENDCo works closely alongside class-teachers to identify and support children’s needs at an early stage. Through regular meetings with staff and with you as parents, we keep you informed of your child’s progress, celebrate achievements and adjust support as needed.
Thanks to our small class sizes and calm, supportive atmosphere, many children flourish and thrive here. We are proud to offer a comprehensive range of interventions across the four broad areas of need as defined in the SEND Code of Practice—namely:
Where children need external support we will guide parents to the correct outside agencies and work with parents to provide this as an additionally costed service or guide parents to the correct outside agencies for further specialist support.
Every child at The Shrubbery School is valued as an individual—and our family-led ethos and inclusive practice are central to everything we do.
